They are great little cars, capable of beating a lot of other cars up to 30-ish kmh, so they are great fun in the city, which is what I used one for often.
They do eat front tires though, due to the understeer caused by the combination of too narrow front tires and RWD. All it really needs is better suspension/tires, a lower body and a bit larger range, then it would be the perfect city cruiser. I do miss driving around in the one I had access to, it was always a fun way to get stuff in and around the city.
